CUSTOMER POLICIES
Customer Policies
At Don’t Drive Naked, we have been helping businesses brand their vehicles since 1995. As fleet wrap specialists based in Indianapolis, we work with companies throughout Indiana and across the country to design, produce, and install professional vehicle graphics. The following policies help ensure projects move smoothly from design through installation and allow us to deliver the highest quality results.
Key Project Requirements
- Artwork approvals must be submitted by email before production begins
- Vehicles must arrive clean prior to installation
- Vehicles with ceramic coatings or paint sealants must have those coatings removed before
vinyl installation - Please wait 48 hours after installation before washing the vehicle
Artwork Approval
All artwork must be approved before production begins. Customers should carefully review proofs before approval. Once artwork has been approved, the customer is responsible for any errors including spelling, layout, or content.
Approvals must be submitted by email so written confirmation is on file before production begins.
Production Timeline
Most projects move into production or installation within 7–10 business days after final artwork approval. Production timelines may vary depending on project complexity, material availability, and scheduling requirements.
Vehicle Preparation
Vehicles must arrive clean prior to installation. A properly cleaned vehicle helps ensure proper vinyl adhesion and prevents contamination during installation. If the vehicle has been recently painted, please confirm with your painter that the paint has had sufficient time to cure before vinyl installation. Vehicles treated with ceramic coatings, paint sealants, or similar protective coatings must have those coatings removed from areas where vinyl graphics will be installed prior to installation.
Emblem Removal
Vehicle emblems and badges are often removed during the wrap installation process. Removal may damage the emblem, and emblems are typically not reusable after removal.
Paint Condition
Vinyl graphics adhere best to properly prepared factory paint surfaces. Paint that is aged, repainted, poorly bonded, or already failing may lift or separate when vinyl graphics are removed. Because paint condition varies from vehicle to vehicle, we cannot guarantee that paint will remain unaffected during the removal of vinyl graphics. If your vehicle has aftermarket paint or existing paint damage, please inform us prior to installation. Printed colors may vary slightly from digital proofs or previous print runs due to material differences and printing conditions.
While we strive for consistency, exact color matches cannot always be guaranteed.
Vehicle Inspection
Vehicles are inspected prior to installation for existing paint damage, body damage, or surface conditions that may affect installation. If any concerns are identified, they will be discussed before installation begins.
Vehicle Contents
Customers should remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle prior to installation. Don’t Drive Naked is not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle during the installation process.
Vehicle Pickup
Once installation is complete, customers will be notified that their vehicle is ready. Completed vehicles may be stored safely indoors overnight. If a vehicle remains at our facility after completion, we may contact the owner to arrange a convenient pickup time.
Post-Installation Care
After installation, vinyl graphics require time to fully bond to the vehicle surface. Please wait at least 48 hours before washing the vehicle. Avoid pressure washing directly on seams or edges of the vinyl. Proper care will help ensure your graphics perform well and maintain their appearance.
